Coconut, Cherry + Nutmeg Shortbread Balls

For when you want a tropical blended drink from Hometeam, but opt for a cookie instead. The coconut + nutmeg combo will hold you until your next Game Changer fix. I chose dried cherries instead of dried pineapple because that’s what I had on hand, but I bet pineapple will REALLY give you the cocktail vibes.

1 ¾ cup flour

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

½ cup sugar

½ cup dried cherries - chop them, otherwise they’ll burn

1 cup dried coconut

½ tsp nutmeg

¼ tsp cinnamon

2 sticks (½ lb) butter - softened or room temp

Preheat your oven to 350. Mix together the dry ingredients. Add in the butter and mix until it is a doughy ball.

Roll into small balls (I made these more bite size, but make them big if you want big!) and place on your parchment lined tray. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, even up to 20 minutes, until they are golden brown on the bottom and lightly golden up top.
