Raspberry Cornmeal Muffin

A little grain to get you started off on a nutritious track, and a little sugar to get you started off on a happy track. 





1 cup flour 

1 cup cornmeal 

½ cup sugar

1 tb baking powder 

1 tsp salt 

½ cup butter 

¾ cup milk 

1 egg

1 cup raspberries 


Mix together the dry ingredients, from the flour through the salt. Melt the butter and add it to the dry mix with the milk + egg. Whisk everything together thoroughly. Fold in the raspberries. Pour into 6 muffin tins and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean.
